The Love Game

I am still relatively new at blogging. I will figure it out in time though. I did my last 2 posts under a different name, but will add this one right here. This is another article that received a lot of views. Here it is.

Love is the thing that every living creature seeks after. Every living thing on earth, no matter how bad it may seem to us desires love. I think about creatures that are ferocious, like wild beasts or unlearned people of the wild. Every one wants to love and be loved. You say, why does it seem like I keep getting knocked down in the area of love? I want so badly to be in a relationship, but no one seems to be up to my standards.

What do you do? Do you lower your standards? Of course not! You raise the standards of anyone that wants to be associated with you. You do not adapt to someone just to gain their approval because you are desperate to be in a relationship. You are to become a whole person yourself by knowing who you are and why you are here. Get ready because I am about to make a statement that you may have heard before and did not receive.

Are you ready? Are you open to receive wisdom. The greatest love ever shown was demonstrated by God by sending His son Jesus Christ to die for a sinful and wicked generation. This great God is still waiting on many to take the faith pass to heaven and not the pleasure pass to hell. Let us not make this salvation thing harder than it has to be.

The bible states that we should work out our salvation with fear (respect and awe) and trembling (excitement). If you are seeking a spouse or companion for the sake of saying that you have one, then check your motives. It always comes back to motives. Why are you doing what you do? Why do you want what you want? Check your motives against the holy scriptures and make sure that they line up with the truth of God's word.

Remember, you get what you expect. As a man or woman thinks, so they will become is what the proverbs state in Proverbs 23 and verse 7. Read Philippians 4:8,9 and let the words sink into your mind and heart. It reads: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Are you lacking peace in your life? The key is to think on godly things. The key is to think on good things. Practice these on a daily basis and watch your life change for the good and the better headed to best. You can have it now if you so choose.

Repeat this to yourself:

I choose to think on the truth. I choose to think on things that are honest. I choose to think on things that are just. I choose to think on things that are pure. I choose to think on things that are lovely. I choose to think on things that are of a good report. I think on virtue. I think on praise. I think the God kind of thoughts and I present myself to you God which is my reasonable service in Jesus' name. Keep practicing good thoughts and your thoughts will become perfected. I did not say perfect, but perfected. It is a process to becoming better and better each and every day. I love you with the love of God and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to keep on moving on to perfection.
